Well kids, it's almost done. Two more tracks need to be recorded, and then all the demos will be done! Then it's time to escape for six months, and find myself a nice little studio for June. Download these demos while you can.

It's been snowing all night, and it's been really beautiful and all, but I can't shake this feeling that I'd rather be somewhere else. There's something so romantic, and childlike at the same time, about the first snow fall. I guess I'd just rather be with her.

hello, my old friend! i suppose i've hit a quick spell of writer's block, and it's been some time since i've written/recorded something new. this weekend i played a lot of songs, and i happened to play one in front of a fire, with some friends around. i pulled out the laptop and figured i'd capture the moment. this song is going to be on the new record, which has changed names from "leaving" to "first morning light", even though all the songs are still about the former. anyways, hope you enjoy the song.

a new day, a new record. i've finished all the demos for "moving backwards...", which means it's time to start on record number two. i recorded two songs this afternoon, both of which will be on it. i'm going to call the record "leaving" and it's going to have lots of songs about that very thing. "roberta" is about a friend from a far away land, and "the unassuming girl..." is about realizing your complacency. if you feel like leaving, maybe you should.
